国内疫情暴发期间，沙特基础工业捐款共计人民币800万元，用以帮助抗疫前线的多家湖北省一线医院，同时调配并确保原材料供给，满足个人护理、医用产品与医疗设备的生产需求。

亲爱的朋友们，大家好。

我是尤素福·阿尔-拜延，沙特基础工业公司 (SABIC) 副董事长兼首席执行官，我同时也担任今年沙特阿拉伯二十国集团工商峰会（B20）的主席。

谨代表SABIC，我想首先向全球所有遭受疫情冲击的人们表达我们诚挚的慰问，对那些在疫情中失去亲人的家庭致以最深切的哀悼。

自今年初疫情爆发以来，SABIC一直秉持承诺，持续为所有受疫情影响的人们提供支持和鼓励。

在这场抗击疫情的战役中，中国政府付出的杰出努力和中国人民做出的个人牺牲，令我深表钦佩。

如今，我们看到，中国疫情局势持续向好，同时中国经济也呈现着令人欣喜的复苏势头。能够在此过程中贡献自己的力量，SABIC感到非常自豪。

I’m Yousef Al-Benyan, Vice Chairman and CEO of SABIC, and Chair of the B20 Saudi Arabia.

On behalf of SABIC, I want to share a message of solidarity with those impacted by this global pandemic, and condolences to the families of those who have lost their lives to the novel coronavirus.

We at SABIC have pledged our support and encouragement for everybody affected by the virus since the outbreak started early this year.

I am inspired by the extraordinary efforts made by the Chinese authorities and the personal sacrifices made by the Chinese people in order to contain this crisis.

As a result, we are now witnessing significant progress and encouraging signs of recovery, which SABIC is proud to have been a part of.

SABIC was quick to respond with an eight million yuan donation to help hospitals in Hubei as they battled the virus.

And we have since been supporting the urgent productions of personal hygiene and healthcare products as well as medical equipments that SABIC materials are used.

But now, countries around the world are facing a stark reality as the virus spreads.

And as we did - and continue to do - with China, SABIC extends our support and offers our innovative solutions to the broader global community.

As a world-leading diversified chemical company, SABIC manufactures products that are fundamental to improving our quality of life and touches almost all aspects of our daily life.

We will continue to supply our products to meet global demand, just as we will continue to monitor the coronavirus globally to identify how can SABIC help at the most.

And we believe that China’s economy will bounce back soon and drive the global economic recovery.
Now more than ever, as more countries facing hardships and challenges from the coronavirus, global cooperations and solidarity is a must.

We are confident that by enhancing connectivity and regional collaborations to the greatest possible extent, our global community will get through this.

In decades past, we have experienced unprecedented change brought by globalization, and witnessed remarkable achievements in science and technology across the globe.

We believe that China’s examples of action, compassion and innovation will benefit the world.

Most importantly—and as evidenced by China’s leadership during the outbreak—we will remind the world about the importance of collaboration to address today’s issues head-on.

I believe the key to overcoming the coronavirus and other global challenges is —working together, as a united global community.
