疫情使得全球经济增长和金融市场面临巨大的不确定性和波动。而中国一直是全球经济增长的主要动力之一，她期待中国能够帮助全球经济摆脱困境。

我一直期待着参加每年三月举办的中国发展高层论坛。

但是今年的情况也如你们所知，随着新型冠状病毒在全球的扩散，我们都正面临着非常困难的局面。

今年年初我就已经非常关注新型冠状病毒对中国人民造成的影响。

随着这一前所未有的卫生事件不断发展，中国及时采取果断措施应对危机，并率先向世界展示了如何有效控制疫情进一步扩散。

现在危机的中心已经转到欧洲和美国，在越来越多的人为此失去生命时，全球经济增长和金融市场也在面临巨大的不确定性和波动。

如果我们不能站在一起并肩作战，情况甚至可能会变得更加严峻。

在最困难的情况下，政府与商界之间的合作变得更加重要和紧迫。

在过去的几年中，中国一直是全球经济增长的主要动力之一。我们期待中国再次帮助全球经济摆脱困境。

同时，富达国际对于中国的承诺和长远计划都没改变。

中国是我们全球战略不可或缺的一部分。作为最早在中国开展业务的全球资产管理公司之一，我们专注于提升中国人民的财务健康程度。

我期待在延后举办的论坛上进一步探讨我们能为中国做出哪些贡献。

I always look forward to participating in the China Development Forum in March every year.

But this year, as you know, we are all facing extremely difficult circumstances as the spread of coronavirus continues across the globe.

I became very concerned about the impact of the coronavirus on the citizens of China earlier this year.

As this unprecedented event evolved, China made a number of decisive steps to manage the crisis and has led the way in showing the world how to control it.

Now the centre of the crisis has shifted to Europe and the U.S. and, in addition to the growing human tragedy, global economic growth and financial markets are facing huge uncertainty and volatility .

The situation could get even tougher if we don’t stand together shoulder to shoulder.

Collaboration between governments and business communities becomes even more important and urgent in the hardest of circumstances.

China has been one of the key drivers in global economic growth over the past few years. We look to China to help steer the global economy out of difficulty again.

In the meantime, at Fidelity International, our long-term business plan and commitment to China is unchanged.

China is a critical piece of our global strategy. As one of the first global asset managers to establish a presence in China, we are focused on enhancing the financial wellness of Chinese citizens.

I look forward to discussing the contributions that we could make to China at the postponed forum.
